On the occasion of Wild life Week 2010 Van Vihar National Park,Bhopal Organised Birdwatching Camp on 3rd October from 6.00 Am to 8.30 Am.At least 70 Participant from different School and Collages of Bhopal participated in this Camp.Resource persons Shri.J.S Chouhan (Dir.VVNP), Shri Satyanand(IFS),Shri.Surendra Tiwari(Member,State Wild life Board),Shri Patil (CEE Pune),Shri M.Khalique and Dr.Sangeeta Rajgir (Bhopal Birds) have given information about different Aspects of Birds and birding to participants.The 35 Species of birds were Sighted like Pond heron, Red Munia, Brown Shrike, Lesser Whistling teals, Black drongo, Purple sunbird etc. In the end of the Camp participants were debriefed by resource persons. They emphasized that birding is not only a hobby but it also shows your concern about the nature conservation.
