Eco camps 2010-11 is organised in the 48 district of Madhya pradesh by the Eco Tourism Development Board of M.P with collaboration of M.P Education Department,Forest Department, Tribal welfare department and Bhopal birds. In 48 district of M.P the selected 50 student of standard 9th and 11th is participate in Eco camps. The main objective of this programme is to create awareness about Environment in the students.In each district Excellence School students with Eco-club Coordinators and forest staff going to the choose destinations accompanied with the Resource persons of Bhopal Birds and knows about the various component of nature like Birds,Animals , Plants , Butterfly , Insect and whole biodiversity. In the end of the programme certificate is given to each participant of Eco-camps.Five student from each district is selected through quize competition and awarded in the closing ceremony organised by the Eco Tourism Board on 31st of January by Smt. Archana Chitnis, Hon’ble Minister of Education Govt. of M.P.
