International conference of Ornithology is organized in Coimbatore by Salim ali center for ornithology (SACON), Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) and Ministry of Environment and Forest Govt. of India at SACON from 19th November to 23rd November 2011. The conference would offer a platform to share experiences of researcher , naturalist , managers and policy makers on Indian ornithology. The conference is conceived mainly to bring together experts in India and abroad, to take stock of the knowledge base on Indian Ornithology ,identify gaps and develop strategies for conservation of birds and their habitats.President of Bhopalbirds-ECS Present a research paper on “The study on status of Sarus crane and population count with special reference to their habitat conservation in upper lake Bhopal (M.P)” in the Symposia of wetland birds.
